This is an original 11" x 14" acrylic painting on a birch wood panel. The metallic gold border is enamel paint and the sides are painted black. This piece was created as part of a group exhibition at The Miller Gallery (in downtown Charleston) where each artist was given a tarot card for their painting inspiration. This painting is of Little Bradley Falls in the Pisgah National Forest, North Carolina and based on the card “Temperance.”

Temperance Tarot Card: This card indicates that you should learn to bring about balance, patience and moderation in your life. You should take the middle road, avoiding extremes and maintain a sense of calm.
